2nd Year Community Wellness Focusing Professional Certification:
This second year of this 2 year certification is designed as a Training of Trainers and will include practice within your community and with the new cohort of participants in the Year 1 classes. You will have the opportunity to work with many Certifying coordinators and other skilled professionals from around the world.
Our philosophy:
For community work we recognize that everyone brings in her or his own expertise and shares it with the rest of us. We, as Focusing teachers, have one kind of expertise, but in this model we facilitate rather than teach. We are not training therapists; rather, we encourage you to work in your community through a wellness approach. Therapists who take this course will have the opportunity to experience an evidence-based community approach to mental health and wellness. Each person in the “room” is encouraged to ground what they learn in their own daily lives and work.
Who is eligible to take this course:
Completion of Year 1 in the series (including PFA, PSS and the Focusing in Community) or Completion of 4 levels of Focusing through another TIFI certified Focusing Professional and the approval of a CWF Facilitator.
And meeting with one of the facilitators in a Focusing session that includes Focusing on what calls you to take this course
